High-voltage engineering specialist, Ventus Energy, has appointed Lucy Pilcher as its new resource manager as part of its mission to deliver safe, efficient and excellent high-voltage services.
Lucy, who joined Ventus Energy in September, brings a decade of experience in personnel management and recruitment with three of those years within the wind industry. During her previous role, she managed large-scale projects and oversaw the recruitment and onboarding of more than 100 technicians across electrical, HV and offshore departments.
In her new role, Lucy will oversee the planning, allocation and development of Ventus Energy’s technical workforce across projects, ensuring the right people with the right skills are in the right place at the right time to deliver safe and efficient operations.
Her responsibilities include managing recruitment, supporting training and competency development, and working closely with project and operations teams to maintain high performance standards across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Taiwan and the USA.
Lucy said: “I’ve been genuinely touched by the warm welcome I’ve received since joining Ventus Energy. There’s a real family feel within the team and everyone is so supportive, approachable and passionate about what they do. I’m excited to grow alongside such a dedicated group of people.”
